 Tai Chi Master Speaker in 6th Grade History
The 6th grade history class with Mrs. Liess was lucky enough to have a guest speaker on Tuesday, November 27th from The Healing Sanctuary, Mr. Devin Osborne. Mr. Osborne is a Tai Chi master in our community. He gave a brief history of Tai Chi to the students. The 6th graders learned how long Tai Chi has been in practice as well as how it has progressed over the years. After the presentation, Mr. Osborne led the class through several movements of the Tai Chi art. The students had a blast learning the moves. We are thankful for Mr. Obsorne's time!

The North Tustin Campus has two new additions and would like to inform you about this exciting news. The campus has purchased two awnings outside located by the lunch tables to keep the warmth in during the winter season.
 Also, the North Tustin Campus has co-purchased new motorized curtains for the Performing Arts Department which are located in Allison Hall, room 110. We would like to thank the parent association for helping with this purchase. Please come by and see these two new additions on campus!

CHOC Toy Drive
We are still collecting toys for our 13th Annual Toy Drive. CHOC toy boxes are placed in every homeroom classroom on campus. Please donate an unwrapped toy and place it in the box for the pick up date of Friday, December 14th. The Orange County Harley Davidson's Chapter will arrive at 11:30 am and depart at 12:00 pm. Thank you in advance for your participation.
If you would like to donate a toy for a patient at CHOC, please drop it off in your child's classroom Toy Drive Box beginning on Monday, November 19th until December 14th. My favorite memory in 2nd grade was my mom going on the field trip with me. I learned the most important things in life - things like feelings. If you get mad about something, try to calm yourself down. Out of all the grades, I like second grade because of Miss Escutia. You will love second grade too. |
