We're Listening!
Dear Parents,
We want to promote parent engagement here at North Tustin. This section of our newsletter titled "We're Listening" is dedicated to keeping you informed about how we are taking your ideas and implementing changes based on your wonderful suggestions.
We have received feedback and suggestions about morning drop off safety. Some concerns include blocking the driveway and children crossing the parking lot in front of the school. So we are taking a look at our morning drop off patterns. We have identified some opportunities to make it a safer process. We are working on a new drop off plan and starting this past Thursday morning we have added cones off the front driveway, south of La Colina, to ensure that students stay in the cone zone and walk safely to the gate to enter school. You may also have noticed that Mr. Powell and myself have been helping to unload students at the far end of the school while keeping a mindful eye on our pull up and parking habits. We are not done revamping the process so stay tuned. We will communicate more changes in the coming week.

Box Tops 
Three Easy Steps:
1. Clip Box Tops - Find Box Tops on hundreds of products. Each Box Top is worth 10 cents to our school.
2. Send Box Tops to School - Turn in your Box Tops. Our school will collect the Box Tops and send them to Box Tops for Education.
3. Our School Earns Cash - Twice a year, Box Tops will send our school a check worth 10 cents for each Box Top redeemed, up to $20,000.

Prep Plus at Fairmont Prep
Prep Plus is the complimentary after school program offered to all students at Fairmont Prep. This program provides students the opportunity to participate in enrichment workshops outside the classroom, ranging from yoga to professional internships.
