Hammons Named Finalist for 2013 H-E-B Excellence In Education 

On March 6, Steven Hammons was surprised when H-E-B representatives entered his classroom with balloons, cookies, and presented him with a $1,000 check for himself and a second $1,000 check for his school.

You will have an opportunity to take part in an interactive learning experience on April 16 and May 14 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Participants will go behind the scenes and meet district staff, see the day-to-day operations and learn how MISD creates a climate of success in both academics and extra-curricular activities.
