Community Awareness Meeting: Drug Trends
Midlothian ISD will host a drug awareness meeting for the community on Thursday, February 28 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the MISD Administration Building, 100 Walter Stephenson Rd. Learn about the current drug trends that threaten today's youth, presented by Carlos Cruz, Law Enforcement Officer. Sponsored by MISD Safe Schools & Healthy Students and the REACH Council Prevention Services.
 
MISD Rowdy Run 5K: Community Invited 
MISD's elementary running club known as the Rowdy Runners will host its First Annual Rowdy Run 5K on Saturday, March 2. The run start time will begin at 8:00 a.m. located at Kimmel Park. Participants of all ages are encouraged to join the run/walk/jog 5K family race experience. This event is one way the Rowdy Runners can share their love for a healthy and active lifestyle with the rest of the community. Download flyer/registration form
What will be the name of High School #2?
The Naming Committee submitted the first round of names for HS #2 on Jan. 8. There are two additional meetings scheduled to finalize a list of names - no less than five and no more than ten - that will be presented to the School Board. The final decision shall be selected by the School Board in accordance of Board Policy CW (Local).  Read more
