Funding Opportunities Leadership Training for People of Color Living with HIV Deadline: July 8, 2016
This program supports the development and delivery of training programs for people of color living with HIV of all ages (e.g., Black, Hispanic/Latino, American Indian/Alaskan Native (AI/AN), and Asian/Pacific Islander (API)) to enable full, active and engaged participation on planning bodies, medical and support care teams, boards of directors, and other mobilization efforts to address the goals of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy: Updated to 2020. Safeguarding Children of Incarcerated Parents: Developing and Implementing Family Strengthening Policies at Correctional Institutions at the Local and State level (DOJ) Deadline: August 8, 2016
The goal of this cooperative agreement is for the awardee to develop training materials and implement evidence-informed, model policies that can be adopted by local jails and state prisons to reduce the traumatic impact of parental incarceration on children and improve reentry outcomes for parents. Innovative internet-based approaches to reach black and Hispanic MSM for HIV testing and prevention services (CDC) Deadline: October 31, 2016 The purpose of this project is to evaluate innovative recruitment approaches via the internet to provide HIV testing and linkage services to black and Hispanic men who have sex with men (MSM) who have not been tested for HIV in the past 12 months, especially those who have never been tested for HIV. Awardee will evaluate two previously untested internet recruitment strategies for reaching black and Hispanic MSM to provide: 1) HIV testing, 2) referrals for HIV prevention services, and 3) access to HIV treatment.
