Everyone's favorite practically perfect nanny (played by Crystal McKinsey) takes the stage in this Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious musical adventure. The jack-of-all trades, Bert (played by Jonathan Caron), introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane (played by Isabelle Caron) and Michael (played by Peter Tessier) have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones she has a profound effect upon. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that "Anything can happen if you let it." Mary Poppins is an enchanting mixture of irresistible story, unforgettable songs, breathtaking dance numbers, and astonishing stagecraft.
Curtain opens on Friday, October 2 and the show runs October 2-18 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm. Tickets are $18 for adults and $16 for students, children and seniors over 60 years. Photo Credit: Chris Noe

 FCT's Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol

Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol is a modern, surreal and comedic take on the Dickens classic. Told from the point of view of Scrooge's chain rattling (and deceased) business partner, the story takes shape in the afterlife. This play will be an exploration of storytelling, and the actors should be the type who are eager to explore the magical space of theatre, stories and dreams. They need a willingness to work, experiment, and be a fool for a good story. We are looking for a group of performers who are passionate about storytelling through theatre.

This September, Vint Hill and Leadership Fauquier are excited to bring you the first annual Vint Hill Fall Festival. This family-oriented, community-focused celebration is a seasonal street festival that will transform a portion of Aiken Drive and the surrounding area into a walkable display of festivities. Vendors and performers will showcase a diverse spread of food and crafts, lively music, entertainment and children's activities.
THE CAUSE
All proceeds from the festival will be donated to Leadership Fauquier in an effort to support its mission to create strong civic leaders in our community.
