Nightfall with Edgar Allan Poe

Opens Friday Night!

By Eric Coble
Directed by Josh Colliluori and Evelyn Rice
Produce
d by Patrick Nye

Edgar Allan Poe stands alone in the flickering darkness of his mind, trying desperately to convince himself, and us, that he's not mad. The spell he weaves brings us a highly theatrical adaptation of four tales Poe himself considered his best - The Raven, The Fall of the House of Usher, The Pit and the Pendulum, and The Tell Tale Heart. Enter the world of Poe and check your heartbeat.

FCT's 16-23 year olds bring you this dramatic performance! Come on out and give them your support!!

Characters (ages are approximate....don't let a specific age stop you!)

Susy: (25-35) Left blind by a recent accident, Susy is reliant on those around her to help her function in a world where she can no longer see.

Roat: (30-45) Roat is smart, dangerous and only interested in his own agenda.  Roat is a smooth talker, but something truly evil lies within him.

Mike: (30-45) Mike is a professional conman, who has recently gotten out of prison.  Mike is smart, very charismatic and, in Roat's con game, is the front man, who must gain Susy's trust.

Carlino: (30-50) Carlino is Mike's conman partner. Carlino is a bit of a bulldog, with a surly demeanor, who relies more on brawn than brain.

Gloria: (9-12) Gloria is the upstairs neighbor girl. Gloria is at an awkward stage in her life, lacking in both self-confidence and poise. The actress playing Gloria needs to have energy and a bit of spitfire in her.

Sam: (30-45) Susy's husband, Sam met Susy shortly after the accident that caused her blindness. Sam is determined to help Susy overcome her disability and pushes her hard.

Lisa: (22-30) A beautiful woman, Lisa used her looks to seduce men as part of a conman team. This is a great cameo role. Just appears as a dead body.

Patrolmen 1 & 2: (20-70) These are walk-on roles with a few lines at the very end of the show. Playing one of these roles is a good way to be a part of a production without a large time commitment.

Seats shown are not exact seats.
