 December 16, 2014 Dear Parents,
I am so very thankful for each and every family and staff member at Grace Christian Schools. God has brought me great, and oftentimes, unexpected joy in teaching and administrating these past 26 years. The GCS motto is true, "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth," 3 John 1:4. What a privilege it has been to be a small part of what God is doing in the hearts and lives of these boys and girls and their families.
After much prayer, and speaking with those who love and know me best, I have decided the time has come to retire. However, I plan to continue to serve as Administrator/Elementary Principal through the 2015/2016 school year. This would take the elementary school through the accreditation process and give the administration time to discern "God's chosen" to take the baton and lead GCS into the future.
God tells us in His word, "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" Jeremiah 29:11 NIV This is His school and He alone knows the future. I know our God is already preparing someone to take my position here at GCS. He is faithful and my prayer is that He finds us faithful too.
In His Love and Service, Sandi Brakebush
