Total sales for the first quarter 2011 were $80,700 compared to $15,600 for the 2010 first quarter.  The significant increase in sales was due to our development project with Amgen, Inc.  Using BioDtech, Inc. technologies, we are developing a new accurate human plasma assay for endotoxin.  The assay should be ready for the research market by the second quarter of 2011.  The assay should be useful for evaluating low level activation of the immune system in multiple diseases related to gram-negative infections.

BioDtech, Inc. has filed patent applications for EndoPrep technology in Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan, China and India.  We have also filed a formal US patent application for EndoHep and a provisional application for a new blood plasma endotoxin assay based on our collaboration with Amgen.

We continue to make new discoveries as we partner with larger biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
