Total sales for the fourth quarter 2010 were $38,000 compared to $9,200 for the 2009 fourth quarter.    

The significant increase in sales was due to a new development project with Amgen, Inc.  Using Biodtech, Inc. technologies, we are developing a new accurate human plasma assay for endotoxin. The assay should be ready for the research market by the second quarter of 2011. The assay should be useful for evaluating low level activation of the immune system in multiple diseases related to gram negative infections.

BioDtech was issued US patent 7,846,678 "Enhancing Endotoxin Detection" on December 7, 2010. This patent covers our EndoPrep^TM product.  A major European pharmaceutical company has expressed interest in licensing this patent for development of a protein based therapeutic. The evaluation was based on a one year study using EndoPrep^TM for endotoxin detection in their product.

We continue to make new discoveries as we partner with larger biotech and pharmaceutical companies. We plan on filing additional patents and releasing new products during the 2011 year.
