Bronx Better Learning Invited to Participate in Prestigious National Conference in CA

As our students continue to outperform ALL peer groups on NY State assessments, our instructional approach, the Subordination of Teaching to Learning, has been gaining the attention of educators across the country. BBL Professional Development Specialists are increasingly in demand to share our highly successful practices.

On May 18th, Dr. Swartz will participate on a panel of experts at a national conference in Los Angeles, run by "Schools That Can." The session is entitled, "How can we integrate deeper learning strategies into our classrooms?"

Don't Miss BBL's Workshop at the NJ Charter School Association's Annual Conference

On Monday, March 30th, Dr. Powell and Dr. Swartz will co-present on "Subordinating Teaching to Learning: How to Promote Intelligent Problem Solving for Future Success."

Session Abstract:
A pedagogy exists, fully elaborated for key subjects like literacy and mathematics, which engages students' problem solving abilities to master content, producing learners who remain aware of their deep intelligence. That awareness produces confidence needed to tackle advanced subject matter and job related challenges.
