On January 21, 2014, the Bronx Charter School for Better Learning had a very special visitor. Councilman Andy King (District 12) toured the school and sat down for a Q&A segment with the BBL Student Council. BBL's Expansion Community Event
- February 5th -
BBL will submit an application to the State University of New York in the hopes of opening a separate K-5 elementary charter school, BBL II. This new school will serve all students in NY State, primarily those residing in NYC District 11. BBL II will serve a maximum enrollment of 375 students and will be located at Bronx Bethany Church of the Nazarene Community Center (971 East 227 St.). BBL II will open in September 2015.
