Totally loving the fact that I can bundle little Hanley and myself up for a nice walk around the block...in December! These beautiful days have been such a treat. I hope you're enjoying them as much as we are. The business of the season and taking care of my little honey has me away from the kitchen - I miss it so much! Throwing quick smoothies together for nutrition has been my saving grace lately.  I've shared a few seasonal ones on my website for you to enjoy. (Links at bottom in Blogging & Archive section)

Blessings from my family to yours for a beautiful holiday this season and an amazing 2016!

Namaste,

Keep Me Well Elixir
Have you ever googled, "benefits of raw apple cider vinegar?" The stuff is unreal. It's a staple in my home for a number of different reasons. In it's raw form, apple cider vinegar has a significant amount of enzymes, vitamins, and minerals. When looking for raw apple cider, Bragg's is the brand you want to opt for. I make sure to drink this throughout fall/winter as a preventative for colds/flu. Also, raw apply cider vinegar can help boost immunity by rinsing the digestive tract and other bacteria-ridden areas as it moves throughout the body. You can find Bragg's ACV in almost any grocery store these days.

Ingredients:
4 cups water
4 tbsp Bragg's apple cider vinegar (with the mother, the chunks of stuff floating in the jar!)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
2-3 tbsp honey (preferably raw, and only if you need a sweetener - I rarely need any but this drink is an acquired taste, you can use 4 drops of stevia if you prefer, also)

Directions:
Mix ingredients together and store in glass bottle (or separate into two bottles). This will last for up to a week in the fridge. Enjoy!
Guide to Safest Cooking Oils (download)
by Radiant Life
One of the most common questions I get asked by clients are, "What oils should I be using to cook with?" It's really confusing with so many different oils, brands and things you hear about. That's why I'm attaching Radiant Life's guide to the safest cooking oils here for your reference.

Download the guide HERE.

Also, my absolute favorite extra virgin olive oil is Kasandrinos. I wait for sales and bulk up to always have some on hand, so worth it!
