Latin Grammy Award winner Fito Páez is an Argentine popular rock 'n' roll pianist, lyricist, and Spanish language singer. He is also a film director.
Straight out of high school, he began touring with several bands and soon after produced his first solo album.
Since his outing, Páez turned into a power-force of songwriting and enjoyed prolific musical associations with luminaries of the Latin artistic spectrum, including Argentinian legends Charly García and Luis Spinetta--and later Rita Lee, Joaquin Sabina, and Pablo Milanés.
