Reception for José Miguel Gil, Director of Viña del Mar's Dept of Culture, and Germán von Appen, one of Viña's renowned artist, Tuesday, Oct 23, 5:30

A VIÑAMARINO ARTIST COMES TO SAUSALITO

During the week of October 22, Sausalito will be hosting two visitors from our sister city of Viña del Mar - Germán von Appen, one of Viña's best-known artists, and José Miguel Gil, the Director of the city's Department of Culture. They will be here to meet with community groups and to explore opportunities for further cultural exchange.

Starting on Tuesday, October 23, a number of Mr. von Appen's paintings will be available for public viewing at both Studio 333 at 333 Caledonia Street, and at Gene Hiller Menswear, across Bridgeway from our Plaza Viña del Mar. Everyone is encouraged to stop by to see those paintings.

In addition, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM on Tuesday, October 23, the Sausalito/ Viña del Mar Sister City Committee will host a public reception at Studio 333 which will provide an opportunity to welcome our visitors.
