2015 WDMA Spring Meeting & Legislative Conference

Registration is now open for WDMA's Spring Meeting and Legislative Conference which will take place from March 23-25, 2015 at the Renaissance DuPont Hotel in Washington, D.C.

The WDMA Legislative Action Fund luncheon speaker on Monday, March 23 will be Margaret Hoover, a CNN Political Contributor and Best-Selling Author. This is a special ticketed event.

Margaret Hoover is a conservative on-air CNN Political Contributor and the author of the book American Individualism: How a New Generation of Conservatives Can Save the Republican Party. Hoover is a veteran of the Bush Administration White House, two presidential campaigns, and is former staffer on Capitol Hill. She is also the great-granddaughter of former U.S. President Herbert Hoover and is committed to publicizing Hoover's legacy as a humanitarian and pioneer of the international non-governmental organization.

Previously a Fox News Contributor, she has written for The Wall Street Journal, The New York Daily News, The Daily Beast, and FoxNews.com. In addition, she has appeared on television covering a range of issues from American politics to pop-culture, including The View, The Today Show, Good Morning America, The Early Show, C-SPAN and PBS


Following the WDMA fundraising luncheon, a number of other important meetings and gatherings will be taking place. In addition to association committee and board meetings, Capitol Hill appointments will be set up between WDMA members and legislators and key federal agency officials to discuss WDMA's policy priorities in Washington. The conference will culminate with a reception for members of Congress and their staff on Capitol Hill. The conference will take place jointly with the National Lumber & Building Material Dealers Association (NLBMDA) and the Northeast Window and Door Association (NWDA), providing a wealth of business networking opportunities.
