2013 Membership Dues - Just a Reminder! 

In the past two weeks you should have received a form in the mail to renew your membership in the East End Classic Boat Society. Please renew today if you have not already!

Did you know . . .

. . . Your dues are an important source of income for the Classic Boat Society.

. . . Your dues help pay for the wood, hardware and tools that go into building and restoring small classic wood boats and also for the insurance and upkeep of the Community Boat Shop.

. . . The Classic Boat Society does not receive funding from the town or other sources.

. . . The member workers at the boat shop are all volunteers who build and restore the boats and also perform all the maintenance needs of the boat shop.

Now is your opportunity to support the East End Classic Boat Society by renewing your membership.

You will note on the membership form that we have maintained the same amount of dues for individuals at $35 and families at $45, and have added four higher levels. If you can give at a higher level, that would be welcome! Membership dues are tax-deductible.

For chances to win the 2013 raffle boat Goeller dinghy, include an extra $20 for a book of 5 tickets. The Goeller dinghy is the first boat built at the boat shop that can be propelled by sail, oars or a motor. The boat will be equipped with a sail, oars and a new trailer.
