2013 Raffle Boat Selected & Upcoming Fall Events

Work will begin immediately on what will be next year's raffle boat, the Goeller 12' dinghy. Our first order of business will be once again undertaking the lofting process.  We still have a lot to learn as we work out the subtle details of this vessel.

Our skipper, Ray Hartjen, will be taking the lead on this boat.  Since we are starting this boat in the fall, five months earlier than any other boat, we will be able to expand the skills of our members as each step is undertaken.  You are urged to come on Wednesdays and later on in the fall on Saturdays to try your hand at various segments of this boat. (For the immediate future most weekends will be spent at various venues promoting this year's raffle boat, the Swampscott dory. See schedule below.)
