Classic Boats Wanted! - Reminder!
This is a reminder that if you have a
classic (wood) boat, the Community Boat Shop wants you for their Classic Boat
Fair Saturday, July 17th in Amagansett. The boat shop is welcoming classic boat
enthusiasts to display their boat for fairgoers to enjoy. Your boat can be an
antique or more recent vintage with a classic wooden boat design. Your boat can
be car-top or trailerable in size.
The Event
What: Classic Boat Fair When: Saturday, July 17th 10AM - 4PM Rain or Shine Where: Community Boat Shop, 301 Bluff Road, Amagansett, NY (behind Marine Museum) Refreshments: Light food and beverages provided Admission: Free
The Details
(1) Display - Display your classic boat(s) on the grounds of the Community Boat Shop for fairgoers to enjoy. No cost to display. (2) Sell - Put a 'For Sale' sign on your boat if you would like to sell it. (3) Fees - If you are a
paid-up member of the East End Classic Boat Society, there is no space fee if
you put a 'For Sale' sign on your boat. Nonmembers pay a $20 fee for the
opportunity for space to display their boat for sale. If you sell your boat,
you are asked to make a contribution from the proceeds of the sale to the East
End Classic Boat Society, a not-for-profit educational organization. Contributions
are tax deductible. Membership in the East End Classic Boat Society is $35 for
an individual and $45 for a family. Membership checks can be made out to EECBS and mailed to PO Box 1784, East Hampton, NY 11937.

If you need help getting your boat to/from the Classic Boat Fair we will try to assist you.
Nautical Flea Market
If you have nautical items
to sell, bring a small table and chair and set yourself up. While there is no
space charge, you are asked to make a contribution to the East End Classic Boat
Society from the proceeds of any sales.
Attendance
Last year's Classic Boat Fair attendance was 300 to 500 people enjoying over 30 classic boats. Expect to have as many or more people and boats at this year's Classic Boat Fair Saturday, July 17th.
