Welcome
Please join us at Grace Church!
We celebrate the Eucharist on Sundays at 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.  We welcome The Rev. Cameron Partridge as our celebrant for the morning services on Sunday, April 27.

Worshipful Walks are BACK! Grace Church's 5:00PM service will be moving outdoors on Sunday, April 27 for our first worship hike together since October. We will hike to Wright's Tower in the Fells, stopping along the way for prayers, scripture, and singing. We will meet at 5:00 at the Bellevue Pond Parking Lot at Middlesex Fells. Get there early (4:45ish) to park, because spots fill up quickly with many folks out and about for nice weather! Grab your family and friends, your walking shoes and we'll see you there!

Protestant services at Tufts are at 7:00 PM in Goddard Chapel.  Click here for the schedule.

Outreach Corner
The next opportunity to help with St. Luke's Community Dining is April 26.  For a few months, we will be preparing bagged lunches in the Grace Church kitchen from 9-10:30 AM and distributing them at St. Luke's between 11:00 AM and noon.  Please contact Brenda Pearson at brendapearson@comcast.net
if you are interested in volunteering or have questions.

Food is needed for the food pantries that Grace Episcopal Church supports. Food items may be placed in the baskets just outside the main entrance to the sanctuary (an usher can help you locate them.)  The item for Sunday, April 27 is canned soup.

Kid's Corner

Eva Englert will offer a children's homily on Sunday April 27 during the 10:00 AM service.

Barbara C. Harris Camp

Registration is now open for Summer Camp! Camp is for kids entering 4th grade and older. You can find more information at www.bchcenter.orgMost Grace Church kids are signing up for July 6-12th this year, but others are signing up for other weeks as well.  Please see Noah for information on scholarships, or for more information on Summer Camp.

Help Grace Church Send a Kid to Camp!

Grace Church contributes almost $192 per child from Grace Church who goes to Camp on a scholarship (the Diocesan Camp Scholarship Fund pays $191, and families pay the same).  The vast majority of our kids receive a scholarship.  You can help send a Grace Church kid to camp with a contribution to the Grace Church Camp Scholarship Fund.  Please speak to Noah (noah@gracemedford.org) for more information.

Chasing Ice Film Screening

Wednesday, April 30th at 6:45PM

Acclaimed photographer James Balog was once a skeptic about climate change. But through his Extreme Ice Survey, he discovers undeniable evidence of our changing planet. In Chasing Ice, Balog deploys revolutionary time-lapse cameras to capture a multi-year record of the world's changing glaciers. His hauntingly beautiful videos compress years into seconds and capture ancient mountains of ice in motion as they disappear at a breathtaking rate.

Intern "Last Lecture" Series

May 7 and 14 at 6:45PM

Our two beloved interns will each be giving a "Last Lecture" of what they learned at Grace over the last few years, and their reflections on what our community needs to know and do moving forward into the future. This Summer, both Eva Englert and Rachael Pettengill-Rasure will be leaving Grace and moving on to their next opportunities in the ministries and development.  Eva is attending Boston University School of Theology in the fall.  And Rachael Pettengill-Rasure, God willing, will be ordained this upcoming June, and will be leaving Grace in order to share her gifts with the greater church and another parish. May 7 - Eva Englert and May 14 - Rachael Pettengill-Rasure,
