   Welcome!
Please join us at Grace Church.
On Sunday, we celebrate the Eucharist at 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.  Sunday School begins promptly at 9:45 AM.

Sunday Evening Worship at 5:00 PM.
U2Charist is back by popular demand! The Grace Church 5:00 service on January 12 will be a second of our own version of a worship service which combines Eucharist liturgy and U2 songs, many of which contain social justice themes. The U2Charist was created in Wellington, Florida, when Deacon Charles Cannon of St. David's Episcopal Church wanted to integrate the music that many young people of the church were listening to with the traditional liturgy of an Episcopal worship service. The deacon brought Bono himself to come and lead a worship service in August of 2005, and the service has been a hit ever since.

Grace Church Celebrates Martin Luther King, Jr.
Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 5:00PM
"Let us all hope that the dark clouds of racial prejudice will soon pass away and the deep fog of misunderstanding will be lifted from our fear-drenched communities, and in some not too distant tomorrow the radiant stars of love and brotherhood will shine over our great nation with all their scintillating beauty." Come and join us for a worshipful commemoration of one of our greatest prophets, the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., at Grace Church on Sunday, January 19 at 5:00PM. We will sing songs, pray for justice, and participate in a group-wide reading of Letter from Birmingham Jail.
MLK's legacy is one that endures forever, so long as we make our own voices a part of it. All are welcome- we hope to see you there!

Snow Policy
10 AM services will not be cancelled except for extreme circumstances.  If the 8AM service or the 10AM service is to be cancelled, an announcement will be recorded on the church answering machine by 7:30 AM Sunday.  If the 5:00 PM service is cancelled there will be a  recorded message on the church answering machine by 3:30 PM.

Immunity to Change

15 and 22nd, 6:45PM

The Reverend Noah H. Evans

A New Year is often a time when we think about making changes in our lives.  But, real change can be hard.  This three part workshop is about making real change in your own life through exploring your own "Immunity to Change."  While on sabbatical, our Rector Noah was trained by Harvard Professors Robert Kegan and Lisa Lahey in their "technology" for change based on their theories of adult development and learning. They regularly consult with leaders in the business and non-profit sectors to change the way leaders help teams function at all levels. Come experience your own "Immunity to Change" map, and explore how this developmental framework may help us unlock our ability to make real changes in our lives, and our world around us.

January 15: What are you "doing and not doing" that gets in the way of real change

January 22: Discovering our "Immunity to Change," and how to move forward

Service of the Four Chaplains

Sunday, February 2, 2:00 PM

Grace Episcopal Church, Medford

This interfaith service is to commemorate the four chaplains (on Jewish, one Catholic and two Protestant) who died in 1943 saving the lives of many sailors as the USAT Dorchester was tragically sunk.   This service is organized by the Medford American Legion.  The Reverend Noah Evans, our Rector, will be participating and this year Grace Church will be hosting.  Please come and join this interfaith celebration of heroic cooperation and service.
