"Voices of Faith for Climate Justice:
A Healing Seder for the Earth"
Rabbi Arthur Waskow of the Shalom Center has created a powerful Interfaith Healing Seder for the Earth, which is intended to be done around the time of Passover and Easter. This involves rituals based in Christian and Jewish traditions and an action piece meant to ideally be carried out beside a "Pyramid of Power of our own day: perhaps an office of Exxon or BP, or a coal-fired power station, or a bank that invests in a coal company that is destroying the mountains of West Virginia, or a religious or academic or governmental institution which they could call on to end its investments in Big Carbon and invest in renewable energy companies instead." Come be a part of this unique and meaningful worship, which will include environmental campaign updates, meditation, song, prayer, and light dinner. It will be from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, March 21 at the Arlington Street Church. For any questions, talk to Eva or email her at eva@gracemedford.org.
