Model Boatyard
The water is hard in many places in January, making it a great time to build new boats! Who has a project underway that they want to share? I know some people post progress on blogs or model forums. Send me a link so others can watch your boat come to life!

David Brawner hosted his annual "Pour Party" this past weekend, where they built an entire EC12 in one day. There were several teams working on different parts of the hull, rig and sails. He even had a live webcam going for anyone interested in looking in.

The annual business meeting of Sun Coast Model Sailing Club was held in December and as they say it was "business as usual" with one major exception.

Our Club is extremely lucky to have a Skipper who at age 92 shows up twice a week with his boat and chair, Val Peterson. Val was honored this year by the Club with a special trophy/award ... the inscription reads:

THANK YOU

VAL PETERSON
