This Weekend...

We have the Footy fleet in the Sasquatch Regatta in Wolfeboro, NH and the Soling One Meters in Madison, OH.

Good luck to all the sailors.  Please send the results when your regatta is complete.

Next May, the IOM World Championship will be held in FOster City, CA. This will be the first World Championship ever held in the US.  There will be a need for volunteers.  If you want to help, please contact IOM Class Secretary, Fred Rocha .


We don't have a complete regatta report from last weekends Triangle Cup Regatta for EC12's in Morrisville, NC, but the news is that all round nice guy, Skip Allen from Atlanta, GA won his first EC12 regatta.  Congratulations Skip!!

Congratulations to Jess Atkinson on topping a tough field.  There isn't a report online yet, but the final results are posted on the IOM site.
 
The War at the Shore

It was time for the big girls to come out to play this week as the first ever J Class East Coast Championship took place one block from the ocean in Spring Lake, NJ. 
Alex Ramos' father, Dave took top honors in this one day mid-week excuse to play hooky for work.  There will be more details later.  But for now, enjoy these pictures.

Editor's Note: I believe this was my 21st consecutive year attending this regatta.  There is no better place to set my world right and get refocused on sailing than this regatta.  It's a combination of wonderful people, terrific facilities and beautiful scenery. Thank you for having us once again.
