AGC Action Shooting Class
The AGC Action Shooting Committee is pleased to announce the "Introduction to Action Shooting Class" scheduled for Thursday, July 28th from 5 pm until 8 pm on the 200 yard range.
We are now hosting an Action Shoot almost every Thursday at 5 pm. The events are on the AGC calendar, but are generally shotgun on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays and pistol on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays.
We are getting ready to start combining some of them into multi-gun events and layering in rifle as well.
The cost of each session is $8 which goes straight into the AGC steel fund.
This class is for anyone, but is focused on the people who are not familiar or comfortable with action shooting. This will class will cover all of the basics of what to do when you first arrive, to where to put all of your stuff, how to stage your firearms and what condition they must be in, all the way to how to shoot the course of fire and what to do when you are done. All of the range rules and range officer's commands will be covered as well.
Please encourage your fellow club members to come out and learn something new and exciting! If this is popular, we will host more classes. You do NOT have to be Holster Certified to participate.
Thanks,
Paul Shinol
