The Bylaws committee has reviewed the comments submitted on the proposed By-laws by various club officers and Trustees and has finalized their proposed new Bylaws. The proposal packet from the committee includes:
- Letter To the Trustees - Summary of recent changes - Executive Summary - Latest revision of proposed new bylaws - June 28, 2016 - Existing Bylaws - March 6, 2012 The Bylaws committee introduced the motion to adopt these changes at the upcoming July Trustee meeting thereby initiating the Bylaws amendment process as outlined in our current Bylaws. The motion was passed. The proposed by-laws will be considered by the Trustees at a Special Meeting in August.

While not an official part of the proposed by-laws, AGC members should carefully read the Committee's assessment of the AGC's legislative record and its recommendation that the defense of AGC members' Second Amendment rights be entrusted to an unnamed "more powerful entity."
By-Laws Committee:
Tom Wegemer......Greenbelt - Chairman Alan Doelp...........Maryland Rifle Bill Perry..............Maryland Rifle Sam Bass..............Old Post Rob Cowan...........Arlington
AGC members should direct any questions regarding the proposed new Bylaws to their Club officers or Trustees.
