The Meade Rod & Gun Club is holding an M-1 Carbine match on May 15, 2016.  

The location of the range is:
Meade Rod & Gun Club in Fort Meade, MD.  Clinic starts:  8 AM.

Tuesday Night Bullseye League
 
Every Tuesday night 6 PM - 8 PM
(Year round)
Open to the public.  Cost: $5 per night
Includes targets

What to bring:
  • Any rimfire or center fire pistol or revolver
  • At least 60 rounds of ammo,
  • Empty Chamber indicator
  • 2 mags, a staple gun, pen, and masking tape.
The range and targets will be lit. Overhead heaters for the cold weather.

If you never have been to the Tuesday night league, try to get there around 5 pm so you can introduce yourself to Ed Grove who runs this league and he can set you up with a partner.

Course of fire is 25 yards at 6 targets.
* 2 targets will be slow fire, 10 rounds each target, 10 minutes per target.
* 2 targets will be timed fire, 10 rounds each target,
   four  five shot strings, 20 seconds per string.
* 2 targets will be rapid fire
   four five shot  strings, 10 seconds per string.

Both the timed and rapid fire strings are timed turning targets to make it interesting. We usually finish up the league at around 7:00 PM

NRA's America's Rifle Challenge

Sanner's Lake Sportsmen's Club is hosting Maryland's first America's Rifle Challenge (ARC) event.  Sponsored by Daniel Defense on May 15th, 2016. 


The ARC event is focused upon those individuals interested in learning more about the safe and competent use of America's most popular modern sporting rifle - the AR-15.

This event will offer opportunities to learn new skills, or to further develop your existing skills. You'll learn to shoot the AR-15 rifle from different positions, at varying distances, from behind barricades, using your non-dominant hand and how to efficiently change your magazine.

The AR Challenge consists of training classes and exercises, as well as competitive events designed to test out your newly acquired skills.  The AR Challenge is welcoming for AR owners of all skill levelsas qualified instructors and safety-officers will be supervising all activities.

Local business-sponsors include Cromwell's Firearms, Panda Tactical and The Tackle Box are sponsoring prizes and with registration you will be entered into a raffle.   Lunch from Mission BBQ is included in the price of registration.

2016 AGC Range Badge Processing

Full year Adult Range Badge - $160
Half Year Adult Range Badge - $80

Full Year Junior Range Badge - $80

NOTES:
  • Half year badges are available only for first time purchases and then only after July 1st.

In addition, volunteer hour credits will be adjusted so that 40 hours of volunteer time equates to 1 full year badge. Therefore, volunteer hours will equate to $4.00 per hour for 2016.

Renewing Members must bring their current AGC Range Badge, 2015-2016 Club Membership Card In-Good-Standing, and Driver's License/State Issued Photo ID, to be issued a 2015 sticker.

New Members must bring their signed Range Orientation Affidavit*, 2015-2016 Club Membership Card In-Good-Standing, and Driver's License/State Issued Photo ID.

Individual Range Badge Processing: members possessing 2016 Club Membership Cards In-Good-Standing will be processed according to published dates on the AGC Event Calendar. Please call the office to confirm dates/times.

*Verbal, emailed, or any form other than a "hardcopy" Range Orientation Affidavit signed by an appropriate Club Representative, will not be accepted.
