3 Gun Tactical Shoot

The Greenbelt Gun Club and Arlington Rifle and Pistol Club will be holding a 3 Gun Tactical Shoot on Saturday, April 16 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  The event will take place on the AGC 200yard range and is open to all current AGC range badge holders.

The final course of fire has not been set, however it will emphasize shooting while moving during the shotgun and pistol sections. The shooters will have the opportunity to choose from stable stationary positions vs. offhand positions in the rifle section with the tradeoff being a potentially quicker but less certain time.

There will be 4 to 6 rifle targets, 4 to 6 shotgun targets and 8 to 10 pistol targets. The course of fire will not limit the amount of ammunition that can be carried.  An estimated round count for each pass through the course will be:
Rifle - 8 rounds of .223 / 5.56
Shotgun - 6 rounds of bird shot
Pistol - 12 rounds

Restrictions:  rifles chambered in .223 or 5.56 only, # 7 , 8 or 9 shot only max 1,00fps, no magnum caliber pistols.
No steel, penetrator, or incendiary ammunition.

For those who can come out early and lend a hand with setup or stay and help with take down and cleanup afterwards, your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
