Michael Bruzdzinski - Deep Creek Dunk

Give Mike a reason for freezin'!

To all my friends, co-workers, past and present students and fellow shooters,

I am participating (again) in the Deep Creek Dunk to benefit Special Olympics of Maryland. The Deep Creek Dunk is the lesser known of the Winter Water events held by the Special Olympics of Maryland. Dunk participants take a quick dip behind Uno's Bar and Grill in Deep Creek MD to raise funds for Special Olympics Maryland, the state's largest year round organization devoted to sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities to gather donations. As many of you know, I have been participating in both the Chesapeake Bay Plunge and the Deep Creek Dunk since the beginning of the Special Olympics of Maryland started the Winter Water Events.  The date for the Deep Creek Dunk is February 23, 2913 at 2:00PM. Come on out and cheer me on!

I know that this year has been hard for many of us. Please consider making a donation in any amount toward this worthy cause. You can donate directly via the link below. If you prefer, you can mail your contribution to:

Bow Hunting on AGC Property - Range Badge Holders Only

UPDATE  #5

The AGC trustees approved limited hunting on AGC's property. This hunting opportunity is open to AGC Range Badge holders only. Badge Holders who which to hunt on AGC's property must complete the DNR Shooter Qualifications for bow. Hunters will be selected by a lottery system. Qualification: $7

Archery (bow and crossbow) only.

Hunt in the hills behind the property even during the time the range is open (weekdays and weekends during legal hunting season)

1 doe per hunter limit, no bucks

To enter this hunt, your club members need to qualify. We are following the procedure already implemented at the AGC for some state hunts: You will need to hit a 7in diameter target with 3 out of 5 shots from a distance arbitrarily chosen between 20 and 30 yards using the exact setup you would take on your hunting trip. This means fixed or mechanical broadheads and your hunting bow or crossbow!

This qualification shoot is available any time by contacting the RSO $7.

Once you complete the qualification, please ask for the "hunter lottery list". Enter your contact information and remember your number of entry. List will close by Sept 22nd and 40 hunters randomly to participate in the hunting opportunity.
