1st Touch Conquers Geographical Challenges for Castlehill

Castlehill Housing Association has signed an enterprise license agreement for mobile workforce management software from 1st Touch.

The Association will utilise the technology across a number of areas of its operations including housing officers and maintenance staff who need to access information on their i-Pads and phones, whilst visiting clients.

1st Touch mobile was chosen as it had an existing integration with the Aareon QL Housing Management system used by Castlehill. Another key driver was the system's unique Smart Airtime feature which allows data to be sent to and from PDAs in compressed bursts whenever a signal is available.

1st Touch welcomes Tim Birkett as Implementation Manager

1st Touch, www.1sttouch.com the UK's Leading developer of mobile systems for the social housing and local authority sectors has appointed Tim Birkett as Implementations Manager.

He joins from Morrison Facilities Services where he was the Senior Applications Architect.

In his new role, Tim will manage the customer implementation of 1st Touch mobile solutions. This involves the supervision of a team of highly trained implementation consultants who ensure the smooth integration of 1st Touch software with clients' existing housing management systems.
