Microsoft Gold Partner status renewal for 1st Touch

Microsoft Gold logo

Gold Certified Partners are recognised for achieving the highest level of competence and expertise with Microsoft Technologies. Microsoft award their Gold Partner status to independent companies that have proven their expertise through certification and customer references.

1st Touch is very pleased to announce the successful renewal of our Microsoft Gold Partner status for Windows embedded handheld technology.

This status ensures our product is certified tested, customer referenced and has achieved a pass level on customer SATS. 1st Touch is the only company focused on the UK Social Housing market to be designated a Gold Partner for this technology.

Gold certification enables us to work closely with Microsoft Corp., with whom we have developed a strong relationship over the last few years and also give us access to the latest technology and market opportunities available.

Commenting on the Gold Partnership designation, Robert Dent, CEO of 1st Touch said;

"Windows Embedded Handheld technology delivers a powerful development ecosystem that fits well with 1st Touch software. It is a winning combination ideally suited to the mobile workforce application needs of the UK social housing sector. We are delighted to have been once again, designated a Gold Partner for the technology and look forward to working even more closely with Microsoft in the future."

This status renewal is in addition to our current Gold Status as a Microsoft Gold Windows Embedded ISV partner.

1st Touch is proud to have recently sponsored the fourth annual Housing Technology conference and executive forum held at Q Hotel's The Oxford Belfry on the 21st February.

This was a brilliant event where we could work alongside our partners; Peak-Ryzex and Motorola who provided a plethora of technical knowledge, information and support on their hardware mobility solutions.

Our Sales Director; Greg Johns, gave an incredibly popular seminar entitled 'The Future for Mobile Technology in Social Housing'.

His presentation covered the recent launch of 1st Touch's new version of its acclaimed mobile workforce software which now includes support for a wide range of Windows Embedded, Android and Apple devices.

If you didn't manage to attend the conference this year, you can download Greg's presentation here, where you can also view each presentation from Housing Technology 2013.

Housing Technology are currently working on the date and location for Housing Technology 2014, which we're sure will be a very prominent event and will immediately go in our diary.
