Welcome...

... to our October newsletter. In case you were wondering, there was no September newsletter. We only send out a newsletter when we feel we have some good content to share with you.

Tim has been busy assembling this year's Christmas Pack. There are only 200, and since posting a video of the pack on YouTube the other day, the first 50 have already gone. In the shop, we also have the unusual Fingertip Top, the Camera Phone Illusion Book, and a larger version of the Klein Bottle. The Christmas Pack contains a variety of stocking fillers (or stocking stuffers), and the other items could make unusual presents maybe?

We have more videos from the Toy Museum, and in the From the Web section, we have an unusual puzzle box from Bill Prince. He tells me that this is a one-off, he will not be making any more; but as it is not an item that is for sale (where you might want to keep the solution a secret) Bill is happy to explain in the video how it all works. And Petros Vrellis can take a long piece of cotton, wrap it around some pins and produce... well, you need to see the video!

SHIPPING NEWS. Please bear in mind that while we offer a number of shipping options on our web site, International Economy is the new name for Surface Mail, i.e. the package goes by ship, not by air. Quoted time to the USA is up to 6 weeks, and to Australia and New Zealand it is up to 12 weeks. So if you want to get items in good time for Christmas, you might want to consider at least the International Standard option, which is the new name for what used to be called Air Mail, i.e. it travels by air, not by sea!!
