HB 1011 heads to conference committee tomorrow

House Bill 1011 will be heard in conference committee tomorrow, April 23, at 9:30 am in Room 156B of the Indiana Statehouse. The version of the bill passed by the Senate transformed the legislation into a summer study committee on transit funding referenda.   In conference committee, members of the House and Senate will attempt to reconcile the versions of the bill that passed in each house. The House of Representatives' passed version of the bill would enable referenda without sending the issue to study committee beforehand.
