Most requests shared heartwarming stories of lives changed by nonprofits, whether those of the clients served or the volunteers who helped. PLC Lends Nonprofit

a Helping Hand

 

Irvina Kanarek didn't know what she was getting into when she founded the nonprofit organization, Rewrite Beautiful, in 2010.

 

Kanarek - who juggled jobs as a nanny, art teacher and counselor in an eating disorder rehabilitation clinic - wanted to start an organization focused on eating disorder prevention.
