Kicking off its 2016 season this month, Mercados de O'liva features local organic produce, tasty specialties from local chefs and handmade arts and wares. The market is held through November, and is hosted by local Chef and Restaurateur Chuck Hernandez of O'liva Restaurant. Mercados de O'liva offers six different markets each month, with markets located at Main Plaza, Collins Garden, Dignowity Hill Farmers Market and San Antonio Housing Authority. Markets held at City-owned facilities include the Spanish Governor's Palace market (held the first Saturday of each month) and the Mission Marquee Plaza market (held every third Saturday of the month).
