February in Downtown San Antonio
We welcome the Rodeo to town and celebrate Valentine's Day this month, and there are plenty of activities to choose from Downtown in February!
Join us as we celebrate our proud Texas heritage and the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo! The Western Heritage Parade & Cattle drive will be held on Saturday, Feb. 6. Click here for more information.
Tempt your taste buds with confectionaries from premier local and regional chocolatiers at the Chocolate Affair at Market Square on Saturday, Feb. 6 and Sunday, Feb. 7. Treat your special someone to a special prix fixe Valentine's Day dinner on Saturday, Feb. 13 at O'liva Restaurant, located downtown next to the Spanish Governor's Palace. Guests can also enjoy 15% off select champagne (glass or bottle), and all ladies will receive a complimentary flower. Additionally, on Sunday, Feb. 14, between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., guests can enjoy a romantic, health-conscious and scrumptious Valentine's Day brunch at O'liva. Travis St. Guests will enjoy Mardi Gras fun and flavor with live entertainment, food trucks, family-friendly activities and much more. Don't miss the chance to visit four unique retail shops during the month of February, including Capistrano Soap Company, Blue Labels Boutique, NIOSA and Scarlette Dove. Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information click here. Artist Kelsey Montague visited San Antonio to complete three downtown interactive murals (Travis Park, 217 Houston Street and Houston Street Garage) commissioned by the City of San Antonio. Montague is traveling the world completing these murals as part of the "What Lifts You" campaign. The public is encouraged to post pictures with the murals on social media under the hashtag #whatliftsyou. The murals will be up for a limited time, so don't miss them!
