Join in one of the country's largest Martin Luther King, Jr. marches on January 18 at 10 a.m. Individuals as well as civic, social and religious organizations are encouraged to bring their banners and be a part of this unforgettable experience. Did you know that the City of San Antonio has 27 historic districts and over 1,500 individually landmarked properties? On January 22, learn the ins and outs of selling a home in a historic district with the Historic House Specialist Training presented by the Office of Historic Preservation and the San Antonio Board of Realtors. This course will provide instruction on researching historic properties, identifying important architectural features and materials and tips for marketing a historic home. Join the Office of Historic Preservation on Downtown Tuesday, January 26 at 5:30 p.m. for a launch party for new programs, including ScoutSA and the SApreservation Rehabber Club. Light refreshments will be served. Music by DJ Steven Lee Moya. Downtown Tuesday has free parking available after 5 p.m. at City operated garages, lots and meters. Click here to register. After the Office of Historic Preservation Launch Party, continue the Downtown Tuesday festivities with an Evening in Travis Park on January 26. Guests will enjoy rodeo themed family fun, food trucks, campfire activities and line dancing by Fit and Foxy Line Dancers. Downtown Tuesday has free parking available after 5 p.m. at City operated garages, lots and meters. Congratulations to this year's winners of Mayor Ivy Taylor's Light Up Downtown holiday lighting contest! Click here for a full list of winners. 

Artist Kelsey Montague visited San Antonio to complete three downtown interactive murals (Travis Park, 217 Houston Street and Houston Street Garage) commissioned by the City of San Antonio. Montague is traveling the world completing these murals as part of the "What Lifts You" campaign. The public is encouraged to post pictures with the murals on social media under the hashtag #whatliftsyou. The murals will be up for a limited time, so don't miss them!
