The weather is gorgeous, get outside and take advantage of the exciting events lined up for October!
Catch the Debut of Opera in the Park, featuring Opera Piccola of San Antonio on Saturday, October 10th at 6:30 pm. Pre-entertainment performances begin at 3 pm, featuring The Playhouse, Trilogy Dance Center, Woodlawn Theatre, Woodlawn Academy for Performing Arts and the Magik Theatre. This free event includes a variety of family-friendly games, an artisan market and food trucks. Parking is available at the St. Mary's Garage on the corner of Travis and St. Mary's and valet parking will be provided at the St. Anthony Hotel. Click here to reserve your spot. 
 
A festive night of live music and food awaits! An Evening in Travis Park and Kick Stand present- Glow Roll, Tuesday, October 27, from 5 pm - 8 pm. Be sure to bring glow sticks and deck out your bike while you enjoy Big Mikes, Truck N Taco and Find Me Coffee. Then it's Wheels down at 7:30 pm for a social group bike ride. Free parking is available on Downtown Tuesday- after 5 pm at City Operated garages, lots, and meters.  
Treat the family to Movies by Moonlight on Saturday, October 31st in Travis Park. Join District 1- Councilman Trevino for a free viewing of Ghost Busters. Pre-entertainment activities begin at 6:30 pm, including a Halloween costume contest with a chance to win Rampage tickets! Showtime starts at 7:30 pm. Free parking will be available at the St. Mary's Parking Garage. Call 210-207-7819 for more information.
Did you know San Fernando is the oldest Cathedral Sanctuary in North America? Visit San Antonio- The Saga and learn about the rich history of our City. This breathtaking video art installation by renowned French Artist, Xavier de Richemont transforms the iconic San Fernando Cathedral into a beautiful canvas. The free art display takes place at Main Plaza every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with showings at 9 pm, 9:30 pm and 10 pm. Enjoy free parking on Tuesdays after 5 p.m. at City-operated garages, lots and meters. Free weekend parking is also available for Main Plaza visitors at one of two Frost Bank street-level parking lots Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 pm- midnight.
