World AIDS Day ExhibitCross-Cultural Center Conference Room This exhibit presents demographical data collected by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Center for HIV/AIDS. The full census report analyzes the affects of HIV/AIDS in various communities based on gender, ethnicity, and sexuality. The exhibit will be on display until the end of Fall Quarter 2013.

The Alcatraz Indian OccupationCross-Cultural Center Hallway The exhibit is photo-documentation of the 1969-1971 occupation of Alcatraz Island by Native American & Indian communities after the U.S. federal government ended usage of the facilities on the island. The Native American & Indian communities fought for the deed of the island to be returned to them so they could ultimately establish a cultural center and Indian university. Eventually, the federal government shut down electric power and cut off the fresh water supply to the island. The exhibit will be on display until the end of Fall Quarter 2013.

The Cross-Cultural Center Archival Research Project: Perspectives and perceptions from current UC San Diego Students Monday | December 9 | 12-1PM Cross-Cultural Center Library Interested in seeing the role the Cross Culture Center has played in the University? Join us where CAT 124 and LTCS 189 practicum students share learnings and insights on their research work with the CCC archives project. From summer 2013 and continuing through this Fall undergraduate students have been shifting through documents, outreaching to alumni, and talking with campus faculty and staff about the founding, role, and impact of the Center these past 19 years. The Students will share specific learnings and next step plans as the CCC's prepares for our 2014-15 20th year celebration. The practicum participants will provide a quick overview of what the CCC has done, and how you can get involved in creating a welcoming environment for yourself, your peers and for future students to come! 24 Hour Stress Less Study Jam

During final's week, one of the Campus Community Centers and SPACES will be open 24 hours each day of the week for students to study. There will be study materials, study snacks, and copious amounts of coffee. The CCC will be open Monday morning to Tuesday morning.
