Did You Know?

Planning for the 2014-15 20th anniversary is coming along well. We are deep in the archival review process. All those high school conference t-shirts, class papers, reports, newspaper articles, etcetera have been kept in files, boxes, bins and desk.  For this week's installment of #CCCTB20 thought I would pull a few of these items out.  Yes! We have kept  many of the old 'zines, Student Initiated projects (SIPs), and other artist creations made by community.  Do you see your handy work or project in these photos?  Remember as we make preparations for the 20th celebration in May 2015 did out those old 'zines and publications and send us your ideas, stories, pics to #CCCTB20. Looking forward to hearing from you. Continue reading here...

What stories do you have to tell? Visit our Tumblr and be sure to attach #ccctb20 to any of your social media posts (Tumblr, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter). Get excited and be a part of our project of celebrating 20 years in the making of CCC love and community. For more information please contact Edwina Welch at ewelch@ucsd.edu.

UPCOMING HIGHLIGHTS
Many of us were impacted by the events happening in the Philippines.  Our thoughts and prayers go those affected by these tragic events.  Please know that staff of the Cross-Cultural Center is here for support or other needs you may have individually and collectively. Our best human instincts are to reach out and help those impacted so see links below where you can help.  Also in this time of stress and uncertainty school, work, and other life situations can be difficult. Reach out and connect to someone (friends, colleagues, campus offices, etc).  We are stronger together and we can all help in small and large ways.Kaibigang Pilipin@ (KP) will be tabling this week to raise funds and collect supplies to be sent to the Philippines for the relief efforts.
