Now Launching CCC20 Tumblr!

 CCC Logo
As mentioned in the Fall 2013 Week 1 issue, the 2014-2015 academic year marks the 20th birthday of UC San Diego's Cross-Cultural Center. In preparation for the big celebration day, we are now officially launching the CCC 20 Years Tumblr site to collect your memories, photos, videos, etc. of the CCC.
We need your help and input. We'd like every CCC family member and affiliates (past and present) to dig through your own vaults and visit the 20 Year Tumblr site to contribute.

Also, be sure to attach #ccctb20 to any of your social media posts (Tumblr, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) as well. Get excited and be a part of our project of celebrating 20 years in the making of CCC love and community. For more information please contact Edwina Welch at [email protected].

Love Your Body Campaign
Wednesday | October 16th | 11AM-2PM
Women's Center (Above Hi-Thai, Near Main Gym)

Join us for free food, crafts, massages, and more! Every day, in so many ways, the beauty industry (and the media in general) tell women and girls that being admired, envied and desired based on their looks is a primary function of true womanhood. The beauty template women are expected to follow is extremely narrow, unrealistic and frequently hazardous to their health. The Love Your Body campaign challenges the message that a woman's value is best measured through her willingness and ability to embody current beauty standards.
