By James Lee
I came up with this poem a little over half a year ago; I would say it was winter quarter this year. I would have to say it came out of my strong sense for wanting to practice self love, and understanding how the compassion I create and hold for myself is important for the compassion I put into the work I do at the Cross-Cultural Center, as well as the community at large. I believe that the key to understanding the world is through understanding your own vices and evils, pains and hardships. So I wrote this poem for all those who find it hard to look at ourselves in the mirror every day, and come to terms with knowing holistically that we are ENOUGH for the world. - Read More
