In my experience as the Common Ground Newsletter & Marketing intern at the Cross-Cultural Center, I have seen many passionate student and staff leaders who develop amazing programs for the community, but who face problems when it comes to the communication or marketing aspects of programming, be it making flyers or getting the word out. I don't blame people for not being well versed in Microsoft Office or Adobe Photoshop - those programs cost hundreds of dollars and taking classes to learn those programs are just as costly. - Read More

This project explores the relationship we have with our biological fathers. How has the absence or presence of a dad affected your emotional health, interpersonal relationships, and sexuality? There is no limit to how much you can write. Submissions will be shared in a group setting but names will remain anonymous. An art dialogue that will encourage critical thinking about LGBTQI representations. When you think about the various forms of media you interact with (i.e news, magazines, television shows, and movies), do you ever feel like your identity isn't reflected in the media? This is your chance to express your thoughts about some of the queer stereotypes perpetuated in the media, and also to express what identities are not being represented.
