Even after four years of attending the University of California-San Diego, it is incredible to me that I made it into such a prestigious university. I am constantly questioning my worth at this institution and I keep asking myself what would have happened if someone had not taken the time to find me and try to give me a sense fighting for the chance to attend here. A workshop about facilitating workshops for students who have facilitated workshops.
Facilitating workshops takes practice and a little bravery. This workshop will serve as a space to heal from past experiences, roleplay tough situations, and learn and share tips for facilitating workshops. Empower yourself and others!
Open to UCSD students who have experience facilitating workshops.

"Politically Incorrect Cartoons": Film Screening

A film and discussion on politically incorrect, racist, sexist, homophobic, and xenophobic cartoons in the United States before the 1980s. This is the first of two programs looking at American cartoons that many of us have watched as kids and how cartoons today have changed, but still have the same features as those in the early past.
