The Na Comunidade: Within Community Conference is created to serve the community at UCSD. This conference serves as a space where community can be re-defined, re-imagined, and re-shaped. This conference is a closed event for student affiliate organizations. Dinner will be provided.

 

Attention Affiliate Organizations: This conference is mandatory for Affiliate Organizations to attend. Please fill out the workshop form and preregistration form before Friday, January 11th.

Apply to be a delegate at these two conferences to gain awareness about the Asian American community. Open to all UCSD undergraduate students. The SPACES APSA Community Retention Program will be covering all expenses of travel and registration for the delegations.

The "I Am Not Your Model Minority" workshop aims to raise awareness of Asian American struggles that have been silenced by stereotypes in society. Come learn and share your experiences as we deconstruct what it means to be perceived as a "model minority".
