Honoring World AIDS Day at UCSD

The University of California, San Diego is honoring World AIDS Day all of week 9 (this week) with a variety of free, public events, including a viewing of portions of the AIDS Memorial Quilt. World AIDS Day is honored every year on December 1st, but UC San Diego will honor it throughout the week of Monday, November 26 through Friday, November 30th, 2012. This year's events reflects the "Getting to Zero" theme, language symbolic of the global community effort needed to achieve zero new HIV infections, zero stigma against those living with HIV/AIDS, and zero AIDS-related deaths. - Read More

Gender Buffet: Gender-Based Violence and HIV: A Global Health Concern

In Memoriam Remembering debi fidler October 31, 1952 - November 2 ,2012
debi fidler passed away this month. She was one of the original members of the committee which worked diligently to establish UC San Diego's LGBT Resource Center. Her name is all over our founding documents. Through her energy and that of so many staff, students and faculty, we became the community that we are today. Read More
