Cross-Cultural Center

This year MEChA and the Cross-Cultural Center come together to celebrate Dia de los Muertos, a tradition celebrated in many Latin countries for over 3000 years as well as many Latina/o communities in the United States. This tradition honors family and loved ones that have passed by celebrating both their death and after life. The alter outside of the center is meant to continue on this tradition not only for Latino/a communities, but for all of the UCSD community. If you would like to know more about this tradition, please click here.
