Queering the Campusqucsd

Friday | December 3 | 4-6pm

Cross-Cultural Center Comunidad

End of Quarter Mixer for Queer/Trans Students, Staff, and Faculty. Queer/trans people are involved in intersectional research and activism on all levels at UCSD, at the same time we often lack a visible presence. There are a number of attempts underway to connect the various on campus activities around queer and trans issues. Planned for this year are among other things a faculty, student, and staff roundtable on the privatization of public education and queer/trans studies in the winter quarter, a transnational queer/trans studies symposium in spring and the continuation of the dialogues in sexuality studies series.

To start things off, SPACES and the Transnational Queer & Transgender Studies Research and Curriculum Group invite all queer and trans faculty, staff, grads and undergrads to an end of the quarter mixer. Come to chill, get to know each other, hear and talk about what is going on. Food will be provided! View the flyer!
