September 7 is rapidly approaching - are you ready?
Mind the Gap! On Tuesday, September 6 at Noon, MLXChange and Fusion will go into View Only mode. You will not be able to add/edit listings in any systems as the cutover begins. Wednesday morning, MATRIX will be live and the add/edit feature will be functional in this system only. MLXChange and Fusion will remain available in View Only mode for two weeks as a resource. Please be sure visit the Matrix MLS News and the Matrix Sessions pages on GRAR.org to see all the resources and training sessions available to help you prepare for our new MLS system.

GRAR Member Survey- Launching in September 2016
We want to hear from you!
Please watch for the online survey you'll receive at some point over the coming year. We're seeking your feedback on the services, tools, and overall value GRAR provides to you as a member. This survey will be sent to ¼ of the membership each quarter starting in September. Those who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing for one of three WEGMANS gift cards ($250, $100, $50). The winners of the cards will be randomly selected after each of the four rounds.

2016 SALES MASTER AWARDS
It is that time of year again! The consecutive 12-month period for the 2016 award is September 1, 2015 through August 31, 2016. The final deadline for submitting your entry will be Wednesday, October 5, 2016, with no exceptions. All entries will require a cover sheet that the Designated REALTOR® has to sign to confirm/approve of all listings being submitted on the award application. The winners, as well as other GRAR & WCR awards, will be presented at the 2016 GRAR & WCR Awards Recognition Dinner, sponsored by Fairport Mortgage, at the Doubletree Hotel by Hilton (1111 Jefferson Road, Rochester, NY 14623). The date is Friday evening November 18, 2016 beginning at 5:30 p.m. and includes a sit-down dinner. Ticket sale information will be posted in early October. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, under new updates to its Know Before You Owe mortgage disclosure rule, announced it is "appropriate for creditors and settlement agents to provide a closing disclosure to consumers, sellers, and their real estate agents." Read more here.
