Cutover Timeline Announced

The New York State Alliance of MLS's has planned a final timeline for our Matrix cutover. This decision is based on reviewing the progress of the membership including their back office and website vendors accessing the new system.
The final cutover process to the Matrix MLS system will begin on Tuesday, September 6 at noon and should be complete by Wednesday morning, September 7, 2016.
Add/Edit Listings in Matrix Begins Sept. 7 Matrix is up and running, except for Add/Edit, so if you have not already done so, we encourage you to login to Matrix and begin to use it for everything except for add/edit! Feel free to give us your feedback if you see anything that may need tweaked. - Beginning Tuesday, September 6 at noon , Fusion and MLXchange will be put into "Search-Only" mode. This means you will be unable to add or edit listings in either system from noon Tuesday until Wednesday morning. Fusion/MLXchange will remain in 'Search-Only' mode and accessible to members as a resource (to double check listings and have access to prospect searches) for about 2 weeks.
- Beginning Wednesday, September 7, Matrix will be enabled to allow 'Add/Edit' which means you will be able to add and modify listings in Matrix only from this day forward.

MATRIX TRAINING
Several Matrix Training sessions are being offered at GRAR this summer. These sessions are specifically focused on the steps you need to do to have yourself fully set up on Matrix. This training is NON-CE and there's no cost for GRAR Members with the exception of the MATRIX ONE class which can be taken as CE ($35) or NON-CE (no cost).

Question: Are we getting new profile sheets/data input forms?
Answer: Yes, We hope to have these available in early August along with a list of new or changes fields.
Question: Are Fusion and MLXchange really going away?
Answer: Yes, they will both be in Search-only mode starting September 6 and be shut down completely a month later.
Question: What app do I need to use Matrix on my phone or tablet?
Answer: No app is needed. You will use the browser on your phone (Safari or Chrome) and go to http://nys.mlsmatrix.com. This will take you to the MLS Portal. Before logging in to the Portal, save this page to your Home Screen and you will be able to access Matrix just as you would an app on your phone.
Question: What about hands on training?
Answer: You're welcome to bring your device to several of the Matrix Training workshops being offered. View the class descriptions to see which ones allow time for this. Also, you can always bring a device to any Tech Tuesday (1st Tuesday of each month, 1:00 - 2:30). We've been focusing on Matrix and will continue to do so for awhile.
